Hi MATE is used for remote management of excavators and wheel loaders by delivering information such as engine hours, fuel consumption, and other performance metrics.
The solution monitors equipment to reduce downtime and support daily operations, and provides daily reports that notify operators in advance regarding equipment location and operational information.
The addition of Iridium’s satellite Internet-of-Things connection means users can monitor machinery in real time from remote sites where traditional network infrastructure is unavailable, said Iridium.
Iridium operates a mobile satellite network that covers the planet, providing voice, data, and positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT) services.
