Evac+Chair International, the world’s leading supplier of emergency escape equipment, will be at the Safety and Health Expo in Birmingham to showcase its innovative product range and celebrate a successful start to the year.

Evac+Chair International will be exhibiting at the Safety and Health Expo on 11, 12 and 13 May 2010. On show will be all products from the Evac+Chair International range including the flagship Evac+Chair 300H and the Ibex Transeat, which will be available for a demonstration. Other items will include the mini stretcher and patient carrier seat highlighting the products available from Evac+Chair International to meet a variety of needs.

The impressive stand features two stairways allowing visitors to fully experience the Evac+Chair range. The stand also features high-impact imagery to highlight the importance of implementing an emergency evacuation system.

Paul Colder, head of marketing, commented, “As David Beckham’s recent achilles injury goes to show, you can never take your mobility for granted. Representatives from Evac+Chair International will be on hand to discuss the importance of taking proactive steps to ensure an emergency evacuation plan is in place for businesses and organisations. We will also be available to explain current health and safety legislation and how recent changes will impact on an organisation’s health and safety programme.”

Evac+Chair International’s attendance at the show comes as new figures show a strong growth in global exports for the firm, despite the challenging economic backdrop.

Based in the Birmingham, Evac+Chair International, along with sister company ParAid, has seen a combined growth in exports and recruitment levels of 20% and 27% respectively in the last two years.

Mark Wallace, managing director of Evac+Chair International, said, “In the last year, we secured a number of significant contracts which helped us ride out the recession. One of the most exciting contracts outside of the UK has been to supply Evac+Chairs to the Yas Marina motorsport circuit in Abu Dhabi in time for its first F1 grand prix last year. The chairs are also in some well known retail stores and leisure outlets including Gap stores, Cotswold Outdoor and Odeon Cinemas.”
