Roger Bullivant Limited (RBL), a foundation solutions provider, has been awarded a contract for a residential development in Milton Keynes, England, UK.

Awarded by property development company Dandara, the contract marks a first-time collaboration between the two companies.

RBL Midlands area manager Gareth Griffiths said: “We are excited to work with Dandara on this project and look forward to contributing to its success.

“This opportunity reflects our dedication to delivering quality solutions tailored to our clients’ needs.”

The contract encompasses the installation of 10,000 linear metres of precast concrete RBeam and 2,100 Driven Precast Concrete Piles to support 285 plots over three phases.

The piles will be driven to depths between 6m and 10m into underlying clays to tackle the geotechnical challenges of the Milton Keynes site.

RBL aims to ensure the structural integrity and stability of individual plots through planning and precise execution.

Its RBeam system, an in-house precast ground beam, is manufactured to stringent standards, offering an alternative to traditional in-situ ground beams.

This system is compatible with both modular and traditional building techniques, facilitating accelerated construction schedules without compromising structural integrity or performance.

The RBeam solution also provides a single point of responsibility for both the design and construction of the foundation, potentially reducing carbon emissions.

RBL began mobilisation on site last month and plans to complete the project by year-end.

Earlier this year, RBL demonstrated sustainable piling solutions to Morgan Sindall Construction, offering an alternative to traditional Continuous Flight Auger CFA Piles for the Orbiston Community Hub project.
