US-based general contractor LandSouth Construction has commenced work on the Tuscany Village project, a multi-family residential development in Sanford, Florida.

The project, which is said to be the largest of its kind in the region, is being developed by Royal Palm Companies and is expected to be completed in the early second quarter of 2026.

The Tuscany Village project will feature a Class-A apartment community, aiming for green certification under National Green Building Standards.

This development will consist of seven identical four-storey buildings, each with elevators and offering a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom units.

Each residential unit will range from 782ft² to 1,398ft².

The community will provide electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, more than 9,000ft² of clubhouse space, a co-working business centre with communal workstations, and more.

Additional facilities will include an indoor pet grooming centre, a fitness centre, and a resort-style pool and jacuzzi with cabanas.

LandSouth will use its integrated construction approach to ensure seamless delivery of the project through what is said to be proven procedures, systems, and technology.

LandSouth president and CEO James Pyle said: “LandSouth is excited to collaborate with Royal Palm Companies on Tuscany Village.

“This exceptional project will bring needed multifamily housing with signature amenities to the growing Sanford area.”

LandSouth Tuscany Village project manager Greg Donahue will oversee the construction alongside superintendent Tom Pfeiffer.

Charlotte Dempster has been appointed as construction administrator, and Dan Garner will serve as division manager.

Forum Architecture & Interior Design is responsible for the architectural design of the project.

This comes just after LandSouth Construction broke ground and commenced constructing a multifamily project named Livano Nature Coast in Spring Hill.
